After weeks of disenfranchising Ron Paul through ruthless cheating… something else has happened to cause the hairs on the back of Romney’s neck to stick up…

Sara Palin is in town and playing games, she is trying to steal the nomination, she sent out packets to all of the delegates asking them to vote for her if there is a brokered convention and she is trying to cause a brokered convention.

There’s a Rumor of Paul announcing Palin as his VP and de-throwning Romney in a huge upset. Maybe this isn’t as far fetched as it first seems – “They both have rabidly enthusiastic bases of support. Easily the most energized volunteers.” Anything can happen.

Mr. Paul, in an interview, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined.

“It wouldn’t be my speech,” Mr. Paul said. “That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president.”
